Feb 17 (Reuters) - U.S. lender JPMorgan Chase on Tuesday appointed veteran Catherine O'Donnell as head of its leveraged finance department, effective later this year.
O'Donnell will relocate to New York for the role, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the North America Leveraged Finance team.
Stathis Karanikolaidis will serve as deputy head of the team and report to O'Donnell, the bank said.
Karanikolaidis will work closely with O'Donnell to drive the business, which oversees debt financing for large deals, JPMorgan Chase said, adding that he will maintain his duties as head of North America Diversified Industries and Natural Resources Leveraged Finance.
