Israeli military chief to visit U.S. Feb. 17-20

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The outgoing head of the Israeli military, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, will travel to the United States on an official visit from Feb. 17-20, the Israeli military said on Sunday.
Halevi, who is due to step down on March 6, will meet senior U.S. commanders "to discuss key strategic and operational issues," the statement said.
