WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court declined on Monday to consider supermarket chain Kroger's request to block Grubhub's use of the food-delivery company's fork-and-knife logo based on allegations that it would cause confusion with the Kroger meal-kit service Home Chef's logo.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court agreed on Monday to hear a bid by Meta's Facebook to scuttle a private securities fraud lawsuit accusing the social media platform of misleading investors in 2017 and 2018 about the misuse of its user data by the company and third parties.

(Reuters) - Vista Outdoor said on Monday it had rejected a sweetened bid for the company by investment firm MNC Capital, and that a private investment firm had offered to buy its sporting products unit for more than $2 billion.
MNC Capital raised its offer for the sports and outdoor products maker to $39.50 per share, or more than $3 billion, last week after its previous bid of $37.50 per share was rejected by Vista, saying it undervalued the company... (continue reading...)
(Reuters) -Facebook owner Meta Platforms is building artificial intelligence technology specifically for Europe that reflects linguistic, geographic and cultural references, the company said on Monday.
Meta will train its large language models using content that people in the European Union have chosen to share publicly on its platforms such as Instagram, Facebook.

(Reuters) - Brazil's consumer price data for May will likely show an acceleration in inflation, reflecting the damage from recent disastrous floods in the south, according to a Reuters poll published on Monday.
Annual inflation, at a forecast 3.89%, would have also deviated further from the center of the official goal of 3% +/- 1.5 percentage points, but this would be attributable to temporary disruptions in production... (continue reading...)
