May 13 (Reuters) - U.S. refiner HF Sinclair's CFO Atanas Atanasov, who has been on leave of absence since late February amid concerns raised by its audit committee, has been terminated, the company said on Wednesday.
The development comes a day after the company said CEO Timothy Go departed the company under a separation deal after being on voluntary leave for nearly three months.
In January, the company began assessing matters related to its processes after Atanasov raised concerns about Go's actions and their impact on the "tone at the top" for 2025 disclosures.
In the latter stage of the review process, separate concerns arose about Atanasov's behavior and the viability of his working relationships with the management team.
The company added that Vivek Garg, its chief accounting officer, will continue to serve as acting CFO, a role he has held since February.
