German retail sales fall less than expected in April

June 1 (Reuters) - German retail sales fell less than expected in April, decreasing by 0.3% compared with the previous month, data showed on Monday.
Analysts polled by Reuters had predicted a 0.5% decrease.
The federal statistics office publishes more details on its website.
