German inflation confirmed at 2.8% in March

FRANKFURT, ‌April ​10 (Reuters) - ​German inflation accelerated ‌to 2.8% in ⁠March, according ‌to federal statistics ‌office data released on ​Friday, confirming preliminary ⁠figures.

In February, inflation, ​or the gain in consumer ​prices harmonised ‌to compare with ⁠other European Union countries, ⁠was reported at ​2.0% year-on-year.

The office publishes more ‌detailed inflation data on ‌its ⁠website.
