German exports rise unexpectedly in April

June ‌9 (Reuters) - ​German ​exports rose ‌unexpectedly by 0.9% ⁠in April ‌compared with the ‌previous month, data ​from the federal ⁠statistics office showed ​on Tuesday.

The result compared with ​a ‌forecast for a ⁠0.5% decrease in ⁠a Reuters poll.

The ​statistics office publishes more detailed ‌economic data on ‌its ⁠website.
