Oct 7 (Reuters) - General Dynamics on Wednesday said President Danny Deep would take over as CEO in January, succeeding longtime chief executive Phebe Novakovic.
The leadership transition comes at a time of sustained demand for the company's defense and aerospace products, which range from Gulfstream jets and submarines to combat vehicles and IT services.
Here are more details:
• Deep held senior leadership roles across General Dynamics' land systems, combat systems and global operations businesses before being named president in 2025
• Novakovic, who will become executive chairman, has been General Dynamics' CEO since 2013, steering the company through a decade of growth and rising global defense spending
• The defense contractor reported profit of $4.24 per share for the quarter ended July 5, above analysts' estimate of $3.97, according to data compiled by LSEG
