July 1 (Reuters) - General Motors on Wednesday reported a 4.2% drop in U.S. auto sales during the second quarter, as inflationary pressures kept some new vehicle buyers at bay.
The automaker notched quarterly sales of 714,896 units compared with 746,588 units a year earlier.
