French inflation confirmed at 1.1% year-on-year in September

(Reuters) -Consumer prices in France rose 1.1% year-on-year in September, statistics office INSEE said on Wednesday, confirming analysts' expectations and the preliminary reading published last month.
The EU-harmonised year-on-year inflation figure in the bloc's second biggest economy accelerated slightly from the August reading of +0.8%.
