French inflation confirmed at 0.7% in December

Jan ⁠15 (Reuters) - ⁠Consumer ‍prices in France ‍rose 0.7% year-on-year ​in December, ​statistics office INSEE said on Thursday, matching the ​preliminary reading published ​earlier this month ‌and a Reuters poll of analysts.

The ​EU-harmonised ⁠inflation rate in the ‌bloc's second biggest ‌economy accelerated slightly in ‌December, compared with the November reading ‍of 0.8%.
