(Reuters) -Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani was hospitalized late Saturday evening after a car crash near Manchester, New Hampshire, a spokesman said.
Giuliani suffered a fractured vertebrae as well as other cuts, the spokesman, Michael Ragusa, said in a post on the social media site X. He said Giuliani's rental car was hit from behind at high speed.
Ragusa said Giuliani was "in great spirits" and expected to be released from the hospital in a few days.
Giuliani has worked as an attorney for President Donald Trump in his failed efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
