Fire breaks out in central Paris restaurant amid nationwide protests
PARIS (Reuters) -Firefighters tried to put a fire in a central Paris restaurant amid nationwide "Block Everything" protest on Wednesday.
TV images showed flames licking the building's facade as a resident was seen climbing down via scaffolding on the building next door.
Protesters across France disrupted traffic, burnt rubbish bins and at times clashed with police on Wednesday in a bid to "Block Everything" in a show of anger against President Emmanuel Macron, the political establishment and planned budget cuts.
