Federal Reserve mounts challenge to Justice Department subpoenas, WSJ says

Feb ‌26 (Reuters) - ​The ​U.S. Federal ‌Reserve is waging ⁠a ‌behind-closed-doors legal challenge ‌to two subpoenas ​issued in ⁠U.S. Attorney Jeanine ​Pirro's criminal investigation of Chair ​Jerome ‌Powell, the Wall ⁠Street Journal said ⁠on Thursday.

Reuters ​could not immediately confirm the ‌report.
