Explosion heard in Damascus caused by military exercises, Ekhbariya TV reports

Dec ⁠29 (Reuters) - ⁠An ‍explosion ‍heard near the ​Mezzah ​area of Damascus was caused ​by military ​exercises, Syrian ‌state-owned Ekhbariya TV said ​on Monday.

State ⁠media reported ‌earlier ‌that an explosion ‌had been heard in ‍the capital.
