Explosion heard in Damascus caused by military exercises, Ekhbariya TV reports

E-mailDec 29 (Reuters) - An explosion heard near the Mezzah area of Damascus was caused by military exercises, Syrian state-owned Ekhbariya TV said on Monday.
State media reported earlier that an explosion had been heard in the capital.
