SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Chinese companies plan to ask authorities to open an "anti-subsidy" investigation into imports of some dairy products from the European Union, the state-backed Global Times newspaper reported on Saturday, citing an unidentified "business insider".
The report, carried in a post on X, gave no other details.

LONDON (Reuters) - Kate, Britain's Princess of Wales who is undergoing preventative chemotherapy for cancer, has written to an army regiment to apologise for missing a military parade on Saturday, adding that she hoped to be back very soon.
"Being your Colonel remains a great honour, and I am very sorry that I'm unable (to) take the salute at this year's Colonel's Review," Kate wrote in a letter to the head of the Irish Guards regiment.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) -Israeli forces rescued four hostages alive from two separate locations in the central Gaza area of al-Nuseirat on Saturday, the military said.
The four hostages, three males and one female who were kidnapped by Hamas-led militants from the Nova music festival in southern Israel on Oct. 7 last year, were taken to hospital for medical checks, the military said, and were in good health.

BENI, Democratic Republic of Congo (Reuters) - Suspected Islamist rebels killed at least 10 people in an overnight attack on a village in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a local official and a civil society leader said on Saturday.
Armed men attacked the village of Masala in Beni territory, which lies in North Kivu province, overnight on Friday, military administrator Charles Euta Omeonga told Reuters by phone.
