TAVETA, Kenya (Reuters) -The Trump administration's decision to slash nearly all U.S. foreign aid has left dozens of water and sanitation projects half-finished across the globe, creating new hazards for some of the people they were designed to benefit, Reuters has found.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) -An unidentified drone attack killed a member of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and injured another near Iraq's Sulaymaniyah on Saturday, security sources and local officials said, the first attack of its kind in months.

(Reuters) -The Democratic Republic of Congo and the M23 rebel group signed on Saturday a declaration of principles to end fighting in eastern Congo, a sign of progress even as sources briefed on the talks said details needed to be negotiated.
The signing by representatives from both sides took place at a ceremony in Qatar that followed months of Qatari mediation after talks began in April.

(Reuters) -India's financial crime fighting agency has summoned executives of tech giants Google and Meta to its headquarters on Monday as it investigates accusations of money laundering on online betting apps, two government sources said.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating whether the platforms eased the way for promotion and wider reach of betting apps through advertisements, the first source said.
