NEW YORK (Reuters) - Evercore ISI on Wednesday forecast the S&P 500 will rise to 6,600 by mid-2025, saying a "decisive and uncontested" win by Donald Trump as U.S. president and a potential Republican sweep "was nobody's base case."
The S&P 500 rallied to a record closing high of 5,929.04 on Wednesday, a day after the U.S. presidential election. Evercore also cited prospects for deregulation as supportive for stocks.
