(Reuters) - Four people were injured in a fire at a coal processing plant in far northeastern Russia, Russian officials and the Mechel mining company said early on Wednesday.
Mechel said in a statement that personnel were evacuated from the coal processing plant located in Neryungri in the Republic of Sakha, also known as Yakutia, after a methane fire occurred in a finished goods warehouse.

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Some Asian airlines on Wednesday said they were re-routing or cancelling flights to and from Europe because of fighting between India and Pakistan.

BEIJING (Reuters) -China will expand a pilot scheme allowing insurance companies to invest in stock markets, the head of the financial regulator said on Wednesday.
The country will approve the investment of an additional 60 billion yuan ($8.31 billion) from long-term insurance funds in the stock market, Li Yunze, head of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, told a news briefing.
