Deutsche Telekom partners with Starlink to expand mobile network coverage

FRANKFURT, ‌March 2 (Reuters) - ​Deutsche ​Telekom said ‌on Monday it was ⁠partnering with ‌Elon Musk's Starlink ‌to offer satellite-based direct connectivity ​in areas with poor ⁠mobile reception in Europe.

"In ​partnership with Starlink, Deutsche Telekom ​will bring ‌mobile communications to areas ⁠where network expansion is ⁠particularly challenging, for example ​due to nature conservation requirements or ‌demanding topography," the company said ‌in ⁠a ‌statement.
