COPENHAGEN, May 14 (Reuters) - Denmark's Queen Margrethe, 86, was admitted to hospital due to angina on Thursday, the royal court said.
"Her Majesty is tired, but in good spirits," the court said in a statement.
The queen, who abdicated in 2024 and passed the throne to her firstborn son Frederik, will remain hospitalised over the weekend for observation and further examinations, it added.
