Democratic Rep. Schneider calls for Biden to end campaign

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Democratic Representative Brad Schneider said on Thursday President Joe Biden should end his re-election bid.
"The time has come, however, for President Biden to heroically pass the torch to a new generation of leadership to guide us to the future he has enabled and empowered us to pursue," Schneider said in a statement.
