Delta flight makes emergency landing in Atlanta

NEW YORK, ​Aug ​8 (Reuters) - A Delta Air Lines flight ‌with more than 200 people ⁠aboard made an emergency landing ‌in Atlanta on Saturday ‌after crew reported fumes in the cockpit, a ​spokesperson for the company said.

• One crew member ⁠and one passenger sought medical attention, airline ​spokesperson says via email

• Crew members on Florida-bound Flight ​2204 declared ‌an emergency shortly after takeoff, and the plane ⁠returned to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

• Delta said ⁠in a statement that passengers evacuated ​from the plane by slides and were being transferred to a ‌new flight to Orlando.

• The plane carried ‌six crew members and ⁠199 customers, ‌Delta said.
