More than 100 killed or missing as Sinaloa Cartel war rages in Mexico Sep 20, 2024 08:03PM

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Some 53 people have been killed and 51 others are missing in Mexico's western Sinaloa state since rival factions of the Sinaloa Cartel began clashing on Sept 9, local authorities said on Friday, with gruesome violence showing no signs of abating.

Honduras top court declares self-governing ZEDE zones unconstitutional Sep 20, 2024 07:21PM

TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) -The Honduran Supreme Court on Friday declared unconstitutional the legal underpinning of special economic zones exempt from local laws and taxes known as ZEDEs, which have drawn foreign investors lured by the promise of light taxation and regulation.

US officials meet Sikh activists ahead of Biden-Modi meeting Sep 20, 2024 06:09PM
