China's youth jobless rate falls to 12-month low in June

BEIJING, July ‌20 (Reuters) - ​China's ​surveyed urban unemployment rate ‌for youths in June ⁠dropped to the ‌lowest level in 12 ‌months, data released by the National ​Bureau of Statistics showed on ⁠Monday.

• The survey-based jobless rate ​for 16-to-24 year-olds, excluding students, fell to ​14.9% from ‌15.6% in May.

• For people ⁠aged 25 to 29, the surveyed ⁠urban unemployment rate was ​7.1% in June, down from 7.2% the previous month.

• ‌The rate for 30-59 year-olds ‌dipped to ⁠4.0% from ‌4.1%.
