China's vice commerce minister met Apple COO on Friday

BEIJING, ⁠Dec 22 (Reuters) - ⁠China's ‍Vice Commerce Minister ‍Li Chenggang and Apple's ​Chief Operating Officer ​Sabih Khan discussed the U.S. firm's business operations in ​China in a meeting ​on Friday, a commerce ministry ‌statement said on Monday.

In the meeting, ​Li said ⁠China will provide greater opportunities ‌to foreign companies including Apple ‌and he hoped Apple ‌would continue to work with Chinese partners ‍and develop the Chinese market, ⁠according to the statement.
