China says robot industry development must be tailored to local conditions

BEIJING, Aug 28 (Reuters) - China's state planner on Friday said development of the robot industry must be tailored to local conditions, pursued in an orderly manner and built on local resource endowments and industrial strengths.
The industry must not blindly follow trends, spokeswoman Li Chao said.
