China is sending medical team to assist with DRC Ebola outbreak

BEIJING, ‌June ​1 (Reuters) - ​China will send ‌a team of medical ⁠specialists to ‌the Democratic Republic ‌of Congo to assist ​with the region's Ebola ⁠outbreak, foreign ministry spokesperson ​Lin Jian said on Monday.

The Chinese ​government has ‌decided to provide ⁠humanitarian assistance to Congo ⁠and will continue to ​do so "to the best of its ‌ability", Lin added.
