China arrests major narcotics fugitives, seize various drugs

BEIJING (Reuters) - China said it has arrested seven major drug-related fugitives and seized 28.1 metric tons of various drugs, according to a statement by its public security ministry on Friday.

The ministry also added seven new precursor chemicals to its domestic control list and included 24 precursor chemicals to the export control list for specific, unnamed countries and regions.
