China Micron Semicon raises chip prices by up to 50%

BEIJING, ⁠Jan 27 (Reuters) - ⁠Chinese ‍chip design firm ‍Shenzhen China Micro Semicon ​announced on Tuesday ​price hikes of 15-50% for products including microcontroller ​units and Nor flash, citing ​the current "severe" supply-demand situation ‌and significant cost pressure.

"Affected by industry-wide ​chip supply ⁠tightness and rising costs, the ‌delivery cycle for packaged finished ‌products has lengthened, with ‌costs increasing significantly from previous levels," the ‍company said in a statement ⁠on its WeChat account.
