BEIJING, May ‌17 (Reuters) - Police in China, the United States and United ‌Arab Emirates arrested 276 telecom fraud suspects in a ‌joint operation to crack ‌down on scam gangs operating in Dubai, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV reported Sunday.

The operation was the first of its kind between the three countries and "successfully destroyed nine fraud dens", the report said. Victims ‌were tricked into non-existent cryptocurrency investments, the report added.
