Carney says he will meet key Canada ministers to discuss tariffs

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Thursday said he would convene a meeting of top cabinet colleagues on Friday to discuss the threat posed to the economy by U.S. tariffs.
Carney, speaking to a televised press conference in Ontario, reiterated that Ottawa would respond with force until Washington lifted the tariffs.
