Canadian home sales rise by 3.8% in July

OTTAWA (Reuters) -Canadian home sales rose 3.8% in July from June and climbed by 6.6% on an annual basis, data from the Canadian Real Estate Association showed on Friday.
The industry group's Home Price Index showed no change in July from June and was 3.4% down compared with July 2024. The national average selling price edged up 0.6% compared with a year earlier.
