Canadian home sales rise 1.9% in September

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canadian home sales rose 1.9% in September from the previous month and were up 6.9% on an annual basis, data from the Canadian Real Estate Association showed on Tuesday.

The industry group's home price index edged up 0.1% on the month but was down 3.3% annually, while the national average selling price increased 2.1% on the year.
