Canada's US ambassador Hillman to leave next year

Dec 9 (Reuters) - Canada's ambassador to the United States, Kirsten Hillman, said on Tuesday that she will end her tenure in 2026.
"It has been a great privilege to have served and represented Canada and Canadians over the past 8+ years in Washington, D.C., and it is with deep gratitude that I will be closing this chapter of my career in 2026," she said in a post on X.
