Brother, sister charged after explosive device found at US military base

WASHINGTON, ​March ​26 (Reuters) - FBI Director Kash Patel ‌said on Thursday that ⁠two people were indicted ‌after an improvised ‌explosive device was placed at the MacDill Air ​Force Base in Tampa.

The base is ⁠home to the U.S. Special ​Operations Command and the U.S. Central Command, ​which has spearheaded ‌the war against Iran.

"A brother and ⁠sister have now been indicted. One is ⁠in custody for accessory ​and evidence tampering and the primary suspect is charged ‌with explosives offenses and is currently in ‌China," Patel ⁠said on ‌X.
