Brazil's Natura posts 92% decline in Q2 net profit

SAO PAULO, ‌Aug 10 (Reuters) - ​Brazilian ​cosmetic maker Natura on Monday posted a ‌second-quarter net profit of 35 million ⁠reais ($6.85 million), a 92.1% decline ‌from the same period ‌of 2025 on a recurring basis.

• Natura attributed the results ​mostly to higher net financial expenses, mentioning currency and ⁠derivatives effects.

• Natura's core earnings, or EBITDA, ​stood at 620 million reais ($12 million) in the April-June quarter, ​an about 6% ‌decline year-on-year.

• Analysts polled by LSEG had the ⁠figure at 528 million reais ($103 million).

• Brazilian operations posted pressured ⁠revenue and EBITDA margin, Natura said, citing "product ​unavailability, macro headwinds, and a temporary tax mismatch".

• Second-quarter net revenue dropped ‌9.1% year-on-year to 5.17 billion reais ($1.01 billion), compared ‌with 5.15 billion reais expected ⁠by analysts.
