Brazil top court panel keeps Banco Master owner Vorcaro in jail

SAO ‌PAULO, ​March ​13 (Reuters) - The majority ‌of a panel of ⁠Brazil's Supreme ‌Court voted on ‌Friday to keep the ​owner of liquidated lender ⁠Banco Master, Daniel ​Vorcaro, in jail.

The businessman was detained ​earlier this ‌month after a ⁠judge cited "strong indication" that ⁠Vorcaro attempted to bribe ​a former central bank director with ‌gifts in return for ‌preferential ⁠treatment.
