Brazil's Lula says attempt to poison him failed

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Thursday that he is thankful for his life after an attempt to 'poison' him did not work, in his first public comments about an alleged plot to kill him in 2022, days before he took office.
