Brazil's Braskem elects Petrobras CEO as new chair

SAO PAULO, April 30 (Reuters) - Shareholders of Brazilian petrochemical firm Braskem elected a new board of directors on Wednesday, naming state-run oil company Petrobras' CEO Magda Chambriard as chair, the meeting minutes show.
The move comes after conglomerate Novonor signed a deal last week to sell its controlling stake in Braskem to private equity fund Shine I, controlled by asset manager IG4 Capital.
Petrobras holds 47% of Braskem's voting shares and 36.1% of its total shares.
