Bosnian police arrest three for trafficking group of children
BELGRADE (Reuters) - Bosnian police arrested three people suspected of trafficking a group of children discovered in the northern town of Brcko, the police force in the town said in a statement on Wednesday.
The children were found on Tuesday and taken to safety, the statement said. The three suspects were charged with human and child trafficking and abusing and neglecting minors, it said.
Police in Brcko gave no information about the intended purpose of the trafficking and declined to provide more details as the case involved minors.
Local media reported that the group comprised 31 minors, including babies.
