LONDON/TORONTO/FRANKFURT, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Swiss wealth giant UBS opened accounts for Ghislaine Maxwell in 2014 just months after JPMorgan Chase decided to end its relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and helped her manage as much as $19 million in the years leading to her sex-trafficking conviction, documents show.

BEIJING, Feb 8 (Reuters) - China condemned an attack on a Shi'ite mosque in Islamabad, pledging support on Sunday for the Pakistan government's efforts to "maintain national security and stability".
China is "deeply shocked" by Friday's attack, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

BEIJING, Feb 8 (Reuters) - An explosion at a small biotech company in northern China early Saturday killed eight people, China's state media reported on Sunday.
The explosion occurred in Shuoyang in the Shanxi province in the early morning of Saturday, state media reported.
The legal representative of Jiapeng Biotechnology has been detained and the city has set up an accident investigation team, Xinhua News Agency reported.

NEW YORK, Feb 7 (Reuters) - An 18-month-old girl detained for weeks by U.S. immigration authorities was returned to custody and denied medication after being hospitalized with a life-threatening respiratory illness, according to a lawsuit filed in Texas federal court.
