Australia shares likely to open higher, NZ flat
(Reuters) -Australian shares were poised to open higher on Wednesday, set to rise for a fifth straight session, while investors await local inflation data due later in the day.
The local share price index futures rose 0.3%, a 41.4-point premium to the underlying S&P/ASX 200 index close. The benchmark rose 0.9% on Tuesday.
New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index was largely flat in early trade.
