Argentina posts $2.21 billion current account surplus for second quarter

BUENOS AIRES, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Argentina's government posted a current account surplus of $2.21 billion for the second quarter of 2026, compared to a deficit of $2.45 billion recorded a year earlier, official data showed on Tuesday.
The second quarter surplus follows a $2.41 billion deficit registered in the first quarter of the year.
