Algerian army kills seven militants, three soldiers die in clashes
TUNIS, March 13 (Reuters) - Algerian army units killed seven armed militants in two separate counterterrorism operations in the northeastern province of Tebessa, while three soldiers were also killed in the clashes, the defence ministry said on Friday.
Troops recovered seven Kalashnikov rifles, a large quantity of ammunition and other military equipment, the ministry added.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune offered his condolences to the families of the soldiers.
