AT&T closes $23 billion deal to acquire spectrum from Echostar

July ‌28 (Reuters) - AT&T ​on ​Tuesday said it ‌completed its $23 billion ⁠acquisition of some ‌wireless spectrum licenses ‌from EchoStar under a deal ​announced in August 2025.

The ⁠U.S. mobile carrier will ​add approximately 50 MHz of low-band ​and mid-band ‌spectrum covering virtually every ⁠market across the U.S., including ⁠30 MHz of nationwide ​3.45 GHz mid-band spectrum and approximately 20 ‌MHz of nationwide 600 ‌MHz low-band ⁠spectrum.
