AT&T closes $23 billion deal to acquire spectrum from Echostar

July 28 (Reuters) - AT&T on Tuesday said it completed its $23 billion acquisition of some wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar under a deal announced in August 2025.
The U.S. mobile carrier will add approximately 50 MHz of low-band and mid-band spectrum covering virtually every market across the U.S., including 30 MHz of nationwide 3.45 GHz mid-band spectrum and approximately 20 MHz of nationwide 600 MHz low-band spectrum.
