lululemon athletica (LULU) Boosts Comp Sales and EPS Guidance

lululemon athletica inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) said comparable store sales for Fiscal 2007 third quarter ended October 31, 2007 are now expected to show percentage growth in the mid-30's over the same period last year, compared to previous guidance of growth in the mid to high teens.

lululemon athletica said the revised guidance is attributable primarily to strong sales volumes, with additional benefit coming from the impact on sales of a strengthening Canadian dollar against the U.S. dollar.

lululemon expects to exceed its previous guidance of $0.05 to $0.06 EPS for the third quarter.
