bebe stores (BEBE) Sept Comps Up 15.3%

bebe stores, inc. (Nasdaq: BEBE) said same store sales for the five-week period increased 15.3% compared to an increase of 12.3% for September 2005. The company reported retail sales of $61.8 million for the five-week period ended September 30, 2006, an increase of 27.2% compared to sales of $48.6 million for the five-week period ended October 1, 2005.
