bebe stores (BEBE) Same-Store Sales Increased 1.6%

bebe stores, inc. (Nasdaq: BEBE) reported retail sales of $49.1 million for May 2006, an increase of 9.4% compared to sales of $44.9 million for May 2005.

Same store sales for the four-week period ended May 27, 2006 increased 1.6% compared to an increase of 40.3% for May 2005.
