Walgreen (WAG) Same Store Sales Rise 3.9% in May
Walgreen (NYSE: WAG) saw sales during May increase 10% to $5.042 billion, compared to $4.584 billion in the same month last year. Same store sales rose 3.9%, while front-end sales increased 6%. Same store pharmacy sales rose 2.1% while pharmacy sales accounted for 64.8% of its total sales during May.
